I’m Alice: a painter whose work bridges realism and abstraction, inspired by everyday beauty and vibrant colors.
Growing up in Chicago, art was a constant presence in my life. From an early age, I was always creating. As a teenager, I learned realism in oil painting under the guidance of Donna Sands.
Over a period of a few years, I continued to deepen my understanding of art by frequenting the art section of the local library and executing a self-directed study of the fundamentals of art.
After moving to Germany in 2017, I continued to develop my artistic practice as a freelance artist. Learning the German language opened new opportunities to share my work publicly and connect with the local community.
Since then I have participated in numerous exhibitions as well as successfully curated and organized exhibitions, taught art courses workshops, offer private painting lessons and became a member of the Kunstverein Schorndorf (Art Association Schorndorf).

Today, my work continues to evolve as I explore the balance between realism and abstraction. Working across multiple painting mediums, my art is unified by a sense of vibrancy and positivity: Whether the subject matter is dark, beautiful, or drawn from the everyday.
